
New York City Bus Trip
December 4 - 6 & December 11 - 13
Thank you for your interest in our Christmas New York City Red Eye Bus Trip! Whether you’re going Christmas shopping or sight-seeing, we’re certain that you will have a spectacular time! The following descriptions should answer a majority of your questions, however, if you have additional questions, we encourage you to contact us!
Who can go?
Anyone over the age of 18 can attend on their own. You DO NOT need to be a member of our church to attend. Children under the age of 18 need a parent to attend this trip with them. We recommend children be at least 6 years of age or older to attend.
Why are we having this trip?
This trip is a fundraiser for the youth of North Canton Church of Christ. The funds raised will defray the cost of larger youth events.
What is a ‘red eye’ bus trip?
We have chartered four 56 passenger buses. The buses leave North Canton Church of Christ at 11 PM on Friday night and travel overnight to New York City! We will make periodic stops during the trip for breaks and gas. We will arrive in NYC around 8 AM. Passengers spend Saturday in New York City for a day of fun and shopping. What you do in New York City is at your discretion. We do not book events in New York City for our passengers. We will load the buses and depart New York City at 9 PM and return to North Canton Church of Christ by 6 AM. You do not need to worry about driving, parking, or gas to get to New York City! Just go and enjoy yourself!
How do I purchase tickets?
Tickets are $200 (standard bus) and are sold online on a first come, first served basis. Payment must be made online. You have the option of paying a $100 NON-REFUNDABLE deposit. IF paid in full, only $100 can be refunded up until October 1st. IF you’ve made a $100 deposit, the remaining amount ($100) must be paid by October 1st, 2026! The link for final payment will be in your confirmation message. Please keep this link available. If the full amount is not paid by the October 1st date, your ticket will be released and sold to the next individual in line. The $100 deposit is NON REFUNDABLE in both cases. IF cancelation is made after October 1st, there are absolutely NO refunds.
We are also offering a luxury bus option. The cost of this ticket is $225. The bus has upgraded reclinable seating. The bus has a maximum capacity of 42 passengers. This option requires a non refundable deposit of $100 to hold your seat. Remaining balance of $125 is due by October 1st.
Other information:
In the past, our buses were accessible throughout the day for “jump on/jump off” use. However, with rising prices and lack of available drivers, we can only offer two drop off locations in the morning (Statue of Liberty & Macys in Midtown) and ONE pick up location (near Times Square) in the evening (exact location will be communicated).
