Thank you for your interest in our Washington D.C. Red Eye Bus Trip! Whether you’re going for the Cherry Blossom Festival or to visit our historic Nation's Capital, we’re certain that you will have a spectacular time! The following descriptions should answer a majority of your questions, however, if you have additional questions, we encourage you to contact us!
Who can go?
Anyone over the age of 18 can attend on their own. Children under the age of 18 need a parent to attend this trip with them. We recommend children be at least 6 years of age or older to attend.
Why are we having this trip?
This trip is a fundraiser for the youth of North Canton Church of Christ. The funds raised will defray the cost of larger youth events.
What is a ‘red eye’ bus trip?
We have chartered three 55 passenger buses. The buses leave North Canton Church of Christ at 10 PM on Friday night and travel overnight to Washington D.C.! We will make periodic stops during the trip for breaks and gas. Passengers spend Saturday in Washington D.C. for a day of fun and shopping. What you do in Washington D.C. is at your discretion. We do not book events in Washington D.C. for our passengers. We will load the buses and depart Washington D.C. at 9 PM and return to North Canton Church of Christ by 6 AM. You do not need to worry about driving, parking, or gas to get to Washington D.C.! Just go and enjoy yourself!
How do I purchase tickets?
Tickets are $150 and are sold through our youth group online on a first come, first served basis. Payment must be made online. You have the option of paying a $50 NON-REFUNDABLE deposit OR paying the full amount ($150) at this time. IF paid in full, only $100 can be refunded up until February 22nd. Both options will hold your seat. IF you’ve made a $50 deposit, the remaining amount ($100) must be paid by March 9th, 2024! If the full amount is not paid by this date, your ticket will be released and sold to the next individual in line. The $50 deposit is NON REFUNDABLE in both cases. IF cancelation is made after March 9th, there are absolutely NO refunds.
Other information:
In the past, our buses were accessible throughout the day for “jump on/jump off” use. However, with rising prices and lack of available drivers, we can only offer TWO drop off locations in the morning and ONE pick up location (TBA) in the evening. Transportation around Washington D.C. will be your responsibility.
